My Week

I’m lucky enough to be invited to an “Ambassadors” golf day out at NSW Golf course this week. I’ll be joining the likes of KAK, Sarah Wilson and Sami Lucas promoting the game to a younger face and budding golfers “saying this is the world’s greatest game-step up”! And why is it the best game? Basically it’s a game you’ll never actually master, the challenge is constant but the thrill of a great drive will live on forever.  And you get the enviable pleasure of spending some quality time outdoors in some of the country’s most heavenly settings. Now what can be wrong with that?

As a golfer of a few years but without great skill…I wander the fairways looking at the gorgeous old codgers pulling their buggies and ponder the future of the game. We need new blood to move this game into the future. Some of the old rules and club regulations are as dated as dinosaurs…and I fear this is the reason it’s still seen as a game for old farts. Protecting the tradition of the game is one thing but what about softening the edges to allow more fun onto the fairways!

Golf-Day

Most of my fellow female golfers will agree it’s still very much a man’s domain, with the attitude that women should be thankful they’re allowed to play in the first place! You think I’m kidding :)

So step up, grab a golf lesson, wear a sexy collared shirt and I’ll see you on the fairways…I’ll be the one having a good laugh!
